Press Instructions & Care

Pre-press the garment for 5-7 seconds to remove moisture.

100% Cotton:

  • 310-320 degrees F / 155-160 C
  • 15 seconds with heavy pressure (50-60 psi)
  • Cold peel when the transfer is cool to the touch
  • Cover with a teflon sheet or parchment paper, press again for 5-8 seconds

100% Polyester:

  • 270-290 degrees F / 135-145 C
  • 10 seconds with heavy pressure (50-60 psi)
  • Cold peel when the transfer is cool to the touch
  • Cover with a teflon sheet or parchment paper, press again for 10 seconds

50/50 Cotton Poly Blend:

  • 290-300 degrees F / 145-150 C
  • 15 seconds with heavy pressure (50-60 psi)
  • Cold peel when the transfer is cool to the touch
  • Cover with a teflon sheet or parchment paper, press again for 5-7 seconds

NOTE: Not all heat presses are equal. You may have to test and adjust temp, time and pressure settings accordingly.  If you are using a pneumatic press with an air compressor, we recommend 50 PSI.

Pro Tip:  After your second press, you should see the garment material pattern through the transfer.  This ensures that you have good pressure and a good bond to the fabric.

Garment Care:

Wash garment with warm water.  Tumble dry on “delicate” setting.

Do not iron design directly. If necessary, iron at low setting with the garment inside out.
